The No. 0 was the smallest model in Oliver's extensive line of trimmers. This particular one (which carries no serial number) still sits in the conference room of the former Oliver Machinery Co. in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Oliver (originally American Machinery Co.) started out making trimmers, and they were their only product for the first 8 or 10 years.

The second picture is of the "new" factory building on Clancy Avenue in Grand Rapids, which was occupied in 1907. Although the Baldwin family sold the Oliver name in 1999, woodworking machinery is still made here. The Baldwins operate Straitoplane, Inc., which manufactures the combination jointer-planer of the same name, and Rich Fink runs Eagle Machinery & Repair, which makes parts for the pre-1999 Oliver machines, and a reincarnation of the Oliver No. 299, 24-inch planer. The Baldwins also operate Oliver Racing Parts, which makes connecting rods and crankshafts for race car engines. All three firms occupy the building.

The "old" factory (not pictured), which is across the river, is occupied by Oliver Products, which makes bread and bagel slicers, and other food processing products. It's operated by members of the Tuthill family.
