Bought this little grinder for $10.00 just to keep it in the OWWM family. It was filthy dirty and needed some TLC. I disasembled it and stripped the all aluminum casting to bare metal. Primed and finish painted it and made a new base for it. It was made in Cicero, IL by the SpeedWay Mfg. Co. which was a division of Thor. The 1/12th HP motor is meant for light duty work. It was sold by the Montgomery Ward stores primarily for home use. The spindle is 3/8 inch with 24 TPI thread. The after market motor mounts are stamped "Henrite Products Corp".
