Image Description:
From Old England. Thetford, Norfolk, Jan. 4, '04. Editor Review:

We have read with interest your excellent Christmas number for this year, and must congratulate you upon it.

We notice you illustrate a Nebraska spill and we thought it might interest you to illustrate a Nottinghamshire spill, so we send you under separate cover photo of the engine which went through the side of a bridge and capsized into the river and the two trucks fell on top of it. The engine was of our make, and although it capsized there was no damage done to it except that the chimney was broken and the governor spindle bent, and after being got out she went away under her own steam.

We also send you photo of a view of our standard 10 h.p. special road locomotive and clipping from the Implement & Machinery Review describing same.

Yours faithfully, Charles Burrell & Sons. Ltd. Chas. Burrell Jr., Managing Director.
