Fig. 9 illustrates a machine of the same type, made by the Becker-Brainard Milling Machine Company. This is shown with rotary table in position on the platen of the machine. The automatic power feed of the rotary table does not interfere in any way with the regular feed of the main table, which makes possible the successful milling of irregular surfaces mentioned above. The machine is fed through the medium of cone pulleys and belt. The cut shows the machine direct connected to a motor, the armature of this occupying the same position as the cone pulley on the machine shown in Fig. 9 |
