Fig. 3 shows a miller, made by The Grant Tool Company, which is especially interesting in the method of making the vertical adjustment. This is accomplished by means of a handle shown in front of the head of the machine, through the medium of a worm and worm wheel, enabling the operator to make the finest vertical adjustment of the spindle. This feature makes the machine adaptable to a large variety of work. |
