A recently designed tool of this well-known type has just been brought out by the Hendey Machine Company, and is shown in Fig. 2. It has a six-speed feed changing device, driven by a two-step cone, giving 12 changes in feed, ranging from 0.006" to 0.065" Per revolution of cutter. The machine is equipped with an oil pump and provided with a large pan which drains into the reservoir beneath. |
