THE ACME HANDY MITER GAUGE
No carpenter would think of having to run to his tool box every time he wanted to use a two-foot rule, but we do see them going for a try-square, bevel or miter box every time they have use for one, because, as ordinarily made, these separate tools are so bulky that they cannot easily be carried about on the job. The necessity for a tool which would take the place of these three tools led Mr. Jos. Miotke, 249 Lake Street, Milwaukee, Wis., to perfect the Acme Handy Miter Gauge. As will be seen from the cut herewith, the tool is small enough to go in the pocket, and being made of aluminum, is so light that its presence is not a burden to carry around. As a serviceable tool, however, it is right on the job every time. The graduations are such as are most commonly met with, and when set the gauge is extremely accurate and cannot slip. While the “Acme” is sold generally by hardware stores, those not familiar with it may obtain a descriptive circular from Mr. Miotke. |
