Capacity: Will take cutters 8” diameter and 3” thick.
Spindle: Hardened, ground and lapped. Runs in bronze boxes provided with means of compensation for wear.
Grinding Wheel: 6” diameter and has an adjustment of #1” to or from the work arbor in a horizontal plane.
Wet Grinding: A pump and tank with suitable piping insures an ample ?ow of water to the grinding wheel.
Wheel Truing: A diamond located by use of a gauge in the horizontal plane passing through the work arbor serves to true the grinding wheel and also insures that the cutting face of the wheel shall be in the same horizontal plane.
Countershaft: Has tight and loose pulleys 6” diameter for 2” belt and should run 425 revolutions per minute.
Floor Space: 45” x 38”.
Weight: Net, about 1,175 pounds. Boxed for shipment, about 1,500 pounds.
Equipment: Two work "arbors and bushings for cutters with holes 1”, 1¼”, 1½”, 1¾” and 2”. Grinding wheel, gauge for locating diamond, wrenches and countershaft.
