CAPACITY OF HUSTLER SAW MILLS AND POWER REQUIRED
N0. 00 HUSTLER SAW MILL
This, our smallest Mill, is built for plantation use and for cutting small light timber. With medium or light power, and where conditions would not warrant the purchase of a heavy, high-priced Mill, this Mill will ?ll the bill admirably.
From 6 h. p. to 15 h. p. steam, or good 8 h. p. to 20 h. p. Gasoline Motor may be used to operate it. The largest saw this mill will swing is 50”, and the mill is recommended for timber 30" in diameter and under.
The track steel 1”x1/2” (which must be screwed down to the ways) is furnished twice the length of carriage plus 10’. This mill is built with wire cable drive only. The drum shaft on this mill is coupled between the husk and carriage, which can be easily disconnected to save time in moving. Approximate capacity in ten hours, 3,000 to 7,500 ft. Set out knees, belt tightener irons and tools are not furnished except as extras.
No. O HUSTLER SAW MILL
This is the largest of our plantation or light capacity Mills. The carriage and trucks are strongly built, and will handle logs 36” diameter and under, and will swing a 54” saw. 10 h. p. to 20 h. p. in steam, or 12 h. p. to 25 h. p. Gasoline Motor will handle the Mill successfully. This mill is built with wire cable drive only. Approximate capacity, 5,000 to 10,000 ft. in ten hours.
No. 1 HUSTLER SAW MILL
This is the lightest of our larger or merchant Mills, being equipped with double steel head blocks and greater head block opening. The largest saw this mill will swing is 56”, and it will handle logs 40” and under in diameter.
From 12 h. p. to 25 h. p. in steam, or 15 h. p. to 35 h. p. Gasoline Motor, will handle this mill satisfactorily.This mill is built as a single mill, and with wire cable drive only.
Our log turner or friction nigger may be used on this mill at extra price. Approximate capacity, 6,000 to 12,500 ft. in ten hours. |
