The accompanying cut shows our new “Gauge Roller.” It will be found a very serviceable and necessary attachment When making the last cuts and when sawing dimension stock. It is almost a necessity in cutting long “springy” stock.
The Vertical roll can be set any distance from saw by means of a screw and hand wheel as shown in the cut. When slabbing and not in use the arm supporting the vertical roll can be thrown back out of the way and when in service fits up snug against the frame, where it is held rigidly.
The top of frame holding the horizontal roll has a scale arranged to show the distance between the saw and the vertical roll.
The horizontal roll serves as a lumber roll and supports the lumber as it is being cut.
This will be found one of the most convenient and best “Gauge Rollers” on the market. Price $80.00. |
