The Corinth Engine and Boiler Works
We are able to present to our readers here with an excellent half-tone illustration of the splendid plant of the Corinth Engine & Boiler Works, at Corinth, Miss. Although but little over two years old, this company has built up one of the largest businesses in the South in the line of sawmill machinery, engines, boilers and mill supplies. When the concern was first organized in the early part of the year 1904 they operated a comparatively small plant, occupying only one building, but a steady expansion has been the rule and in addition to the buildings shown in the above illustration they are erecting a modern three-story addition. This new addition has been made necessary by the extraordinary increase in their sawmill machinery department. They are now manufacturing saw mills for the trade all over the United States and shipping extensively to foreign countries. The readers of our journal will be particularly interested in their small sizes of saw mills of which they are making a specialty. These mills being particularly adapted for erection on plantations where timber exists, which the owners desire to cut out. They are prepared to furnish catalogues and complete information to all inquirers and they give special attention to expert orders and are ready to make shipments to any part of the world. |
