In fig. 65 the combination consists of a bed, two inside-form grinding attachments similar to that described for fig. 63, one right-hand and one left-hand, and a countershaft. In this case, however, a special head is arranged for grinding cups automatically after their insertion in the hub, two cups being ground at the same time. The special head is placed in the centre of the bed, and has a quick chuck action, operated by a foot treadle, making the operation of inserting or removing hubs very simple. |
