Spring Leaf Spreader and Lubricator
|
Louis E. Wood |
Farrell, PA |
A "C" shaped frame with a fixed conical spreader on one side, and a hollow threaded tapered tip spreader on the other. The end of the hollow shaft is supplied with a "grease cup" type reservoir for the lubricant.
The functionality and appearance of the tool appear to correspond to the TURNER SPRING LEAF SPREADER AND LUBRICATOR from Kokomo, IN which was advertised in 1922. The patent date appears in some of those ads. |
