Timesavers, Inc. was established about 1950 to make widebelt sanders, primarily for woodworking but they did make models adapted for metalworkring as well. For a time in the late 1960s the business name was Timesavers Sanders, Inc. Timesavers purchased AEM at some point; in August of 2000 they announced that the AEM sanders would henceforth be marketed under the Timesavers name.
