1902
E. C. Tecktonius manufactured wheelwrights' machinery circa 1900. Their machines included the Tecktonius box press and the Bashaw tire remover. The latter was named for inventor John N. Bashaw. The firm's principal was Emil C. Tecktonius, a native of Sweden. The firm was succeeded by E. C. Tecktonius Manufacturing Co., which apparently was run by Emil C. Tecktonius Jr. In the 1920s through 1950s, this company made sanders and lathes.
