The Northwood name was trademarked by Persepolis Supply Co. Inc., doing business as Northwood Industrial Machinery Corp. The trademark filing lists jointers, planers, shapers, lathes, sanders, molders, pin routers, bandsaws, tablesaws, and doweling machines. At some point the registration was changed to Northwood Industrial Machinery, Inc.
