This maker of sanding machines was founded in 1890 by John M. Nash; until at least 1920 the business operated simply as J. M. Nash.
In 1967, the company changed its name to Medalist Industries, Inc. By this time Nash™ was a highly diversified company making everything from bolts to marine engines. In 1986, the Nash™ sander line was taken over by Crouch Machinery, Inc.. In 2001, Crouch™ sold their product line, except for the Nash™ sanders, to Ritter Manufacturing Inc. As of 2005, Crouch™ continues to manufacture the Nash line of machinery, and has a large supply of parts for all the Nash machines. Contact information for Crouch is available at their web site.
