Aurora Tool Works Co., which succeeded E. A. Schumacher, made larger drill presses that were aimed at metalworkers. They were in business from at least 1898 to 1925. In March 1925 Oesterlein Machine Co. bought the inventory, jigs, patterns, drawings, name, and good will of Aurora. The company survived as the Aurora Tool Works (Div. of Oesterlein Machine Co.) until 1929 but seems to have disappeared after that.
