The E. A. Eddy Machinery Co. was a Providence-based manufacturer and dealer specializing in tools and machinery for jewelers and silversmiths. They were established in about 1900, changing name to the E. A. Eddy Machine Co. in 1925 following the death of owner Eugene A. Eddy. It seems that from that time onwards they were exclusively a dealer and not a manufacturer; that business survived until about 1960.

Among their products the E. A. Eddy Machinery Co. made jewelers lathes. Information on their products is surprisingly sparse.
