AKA Rutland Iron Works

In 1876 Robert Luke and Thomas W. Ashby retire from Ashby, Jeffery and Luke and a year later Edward Christopher Blackstone joined the company and it became Jeffery and Blackstone of Rutland Ironworks. In 1889 the firm became a limited company named Blackstone & Co, Ltd
