This business was established sometime before 1948 by Jeter Mansfield Lancaster. They specialized in clamping systems for the manufacture of doors and furniture. They survived into at least the 1990s but we currently have little information on the company or their products.
Serial Number Information
The following information was found in an undated or titled document for J.M. Lancaster:
Serial numbers are assigned by model number followed by a "dash" and the following numbers indicate the sequential number of that model manufactured. Model numbers were also changed as improvements were made. Example: 215 - 215A - 215B.
Example: 215C-75 shows the seventy fifth model 215C manufactured.
