- A 1913 edition of Reports of Cases Determined in the Appellate Courts of Illinois mentions "Century Manufacturing Company, a corporation doing business as Winner Manufacturing Company...of warranty of a motor buggy he purchased by mail order from the Winner Manufacturing Company of East St. Louis."
- A 1930 (supposedly) edition of American Lumberman notes, "MISSOURI, St. Louis.—Winner Mfg. Co. recently began manufacture of woodworking machinery." Another note says, "St. Louis — Winner Mfg. Co., incorporated; woodworking; address Wm. H. Hoeflin, Barcelona Drive."
