This firm was reportedly established in 1830, incorporated in 1874, and survived until at least 1882. Among their products they made steam engines and mill machinery. In 1882 the president was Charles V. Lord and the secretary was Isaac S. Whitman. In 1898 the company merged with Hinckley & Egery Iron Co., with the merged firm being renamed to Union Iron Works.
