      Founded in 1876 by Cornelius Redman, in 1934 the company was taken over by Charles Churchill & Co. and renamed Churchill-Redman Ltd.

AKA Pioneer Ironworks and Churchill-Redman Ltd.

      Reg Jan. 30, capital £100,000 in £1 shares, to take over business of C. Redman and Sons, Halifax, and to carry on the business of iron and brass founders, mechanical and electrical engineers, machine tool makers, &c. First directors are A. Denton, A. L. Churchill, C. Goodchild, J. Parker and G. J. Toy. Reg. office: 17, South-street, E.C.2. (Quote from 1919.)
