Summary
Lakeside was a Montgomery Ward label associated with a number of products, including shop machinery.
In the 1902-1904 time period, the business office was located at 618 West Chicago Ave. In 1907, this location was also listed as the Montgomery Ward Catalog House. There is speculation that Montgomery Ward purchased Lakeside Foundry. In 1920, it appears that the foundry was sold and renamed Lakeside Forge.
Montgomery Ward continued to use the Lakeside name, like a level of opulence, on some machinery into the 1950s.
