Moses G. Wilder was a prolific machine designer. Fairly early in his career, in about 1866-67, he went into business for himself. The business was apparently short-lived and the machinery designs may have been acquired by New York Steam-Engine Co., possibly via Thayer, Houghton & Co.

    Manufacture Wilder's Patent Power Punching Press, Wilder's Patent Universal Milling Machine, and Newell's "Centering and Squaring" Lathe Attachment.

    Parties wishing to contract for any machinery or tools requiring good workmanship are invited to correspond.
