On the 1st of May 1914 the Perfect Machinery Co. was established to manufacture drilling machines, hacksaws and grinders. John S. Rumble was president. Two years later they built a new factory, quickly followed by a large foundry. In 1917 the business reorganized as the Perfect Machine Co., Ltd., with stockholders Wesley Clark, John S. Rumble, William B. Call, and others. They manufactured drilling machines, pedestal grinders, power hacksaws and lathes. In 1919 they undertook a $50,000 factory addition. They went bankrupt in late 1923. The factory was subsequently used to manufacture dairy machinery.
