This firm, established by Walter C. Tesch in about 1930, made saw sharpening machinery.

  • An owwm.org posting alerted us to this maker. The photos showed a patent number, which provided the information on the titular Mr. Tesch.
  • A circa 1930 edition of Steel has this news snippet: "Tesch Mfg. Co., Milwaukee, recently organized by WC Tesch to manufacture a new automatic saw filer, has leased part of the Milwaukee Welding Works plant, 57 Twenty- seventh street, where it will carry on its initial production..."
  • A 1934 edition of American Printer and Lithographer had this snippet: "The new Tesch Automatic Saw Swager is made by Tesch Manufacturing Co., Inc., 2850 S. 20th Street, Milwaukee, Wis
  • An obituary for Sanford "Sam" P. Weller, who died on December 3, 2002 at age 95, mentions that he "for many years operated Tesch Manufacturing saw filing business".
