In about the late 1940s to mid-1950s this awkwardly-named company made a buffer-grinder arbor, which they called a "hobby lathe".
Information Sources
- The company made a patent combination wrench and hammer. We have also seen a small block plane, a coping saw, a 1/4" socket set, and a small egg-beater style hand drill from this maker. Such hand tools are outside the scope of this Vintage Machinery website.
- From 1948 through 1954, this company ran ads in Popular Mechanics for a 1/4" to 1/2" drill converter. It consisted of a drill chuck and a 5:1 gearbox.
- We have also seen a small stamped steel body, hand crank grinder labeled "Hobby Grinder".
- Popular Mechanics May 1949 contains an ad for the new power drill press.
