This company introduced the Super Shop, a combination tablesaw, disk sander, lathe, drill press, horizontal borer, and router-shaper, in 1979. Other names associated with the Fox Super Shop include TFC Corp., a subsidiary of Bloomington Corp. (assignee on the later Fox Super Shop patents, 1989-1990), and Fox Industries of Minneapolis. The connections between these names remains unclear.
The Super Shop was developed by Anthony Fox, who had been an engineer for Magna, creators of the Shopsmith line. The Super Shop is now manufactured in China for Smithy Co. of Ann Arbor, MI.
