From February 1913 Machinery |
Beginning in 1891 or earlier, Eck Dynamo & Motor Works made dynamos, electric motors, and fan-motors with integrated oscillating mechanism. The company founder was Swedish immigrant Charles A. Eck, who in 1903 patented his worm-drive fan oscillating mechanism.
In 1907 a new business was formed to take over Mr. Eck's business. The Eck Dynamo & Motor Co. continued manufactured Eck's designs. That business survived until at least 1921.
