The Company came into being in 1947 and in 1951 they built their first single spindle automatic shaper. This was followed by twin head machines. A round end single end tenoner was produced in 1951 to be followed by a double end machine in 1952. Single spindle slot mortisers had been made soon after the Company was founded in 1951, a multi-slot mortiser was added to their range.
