North Hants Ironworks

      Founded in 1840 by Richard Wallis. In 1861 Charles Steevens joined the firm and the manufacture of steam engines was developed. Wallis & Steevens made Steam Traction Engines ca 1861-1923; Portable engines; combined, thrashing and finishing machines; automatic folding elevators; horse gears.
