In 1886-87, this company manufactured automatic lathes for "brass, white metal and wood".

  • Brief mention in 1886-07-15 issue of Mechanics as having a catalog of their automatic lathes.
  • Ad in the 1887-01-15 issue of Engineering Mechanics: "Automatic Lathes... Manufacturers of Patent Turning Machines for Brass, White Metal and Wood..."
  • Patent 300,943 was granted in June 1884 to Albert T. Booth, and co-witnessed by Joseph H. Williams. We assume that these two men are the titular Booth and Williams. Patent 310,368, for a "repeating call bell", was granted in January 1885 to Albert T. Booth and co-witnessed by Joseph H. Williams.
