Ad from May 1929 "Popular Science"

Information Sources

  • Large ad in December 1928 issue of Popular Mechanics that gives specifications for the saw. This ad does not mention whether the arbor or table can tilt. One corner of the ad shows an optional scroll-sawing accessory. "Send for Free Folder of full saw details, also Wilbar Bench Lathes, Wilbar Combination Saw and Lathe (Wilbar Workshop), and other Hardware specialties."
  • Ad in May 1929 issue of Popular Science: "8-inch Combination Saw Outfit $35.", including a 1/2 HP motor. This ad is explicit that the saw is a tilting-table design.
