- A web search turned up a 2002 Rhode Island Senate Resolution 2002-S 022, "Expressing most profound sympathy on the passing of Benoit P. Fisette", which says that Fisette, born in 1926, retired as machinist and toolmaker from Peerless Precision Products after 37 years. In retirement he worked as doorkeeper at the Senate, which explains why his passing merited the attention of the Senate. If he was 65 when he retired then he started in in 1954 and retired in 1991.
