Improvement in mitering-machines
|
Samuel Williams |
Bedford, MA |
An example of this machine, closely matching the patent drawing, was found in New Hampshire. The words "PATENT APPLD FOR" are cast into the base, which is painted dark green with red pinstriping. There is no maker information on it. However, the report on the 1874 exhibition of the Massachusetts Charitable Mechanic Association says that "Williams & Jackson" of Boston were awarded a diploma for their miter machine. |
