In 1890, the George G. McLaughlin Manufacturing Co. was making steam engines. By the early 1900s it was making gas engines. We have also seen a wood framed table saw with a brass plate, "Geo. C. McLaughlin Mfg. Co. / Builders / 812-6th Street / So. Boston, Mass."
An 1890 ad gives the company location as 137 Oliver Street, Boston, MA; a 1905 ad gives the location as 24 Washington St. North.
