By 1894 the Bignall & Keeler Mfg. Co. of St. Louis were making surface grinders and pipe threading machines. By 1928 the Bignall & Keeler Machine Works was part of plumbing manufacturer N. O. Nelson Mfg. Co., Edwardsville, IL.
