In 1898 the Wilfred Eames Mfg. Co., of 11 Allen Street, Rochester, NY, manufactured the patented "Buckeye" drill grinder. A 1902 ad from Wilmarth & Morman Co. notes that they did not manufacture the Buckeye or Yankee drill grinders, the manufacturers of which were reportedly being sued for patent infringement.
