"This afternoon a steam boiler exploded in the establishment formerly known as the Swartz Iron Works, on Chicago-street. The premises were occupied by E. & B. HOLMES, cooper shop, and J.S. RUGER & Co. and THOS. PARKS, machinists. The building was nearly destroyed."
