The ad says, "Manufacturers of the DOBSON JIG SAW."

The "Dobson Patent Scroll Saw" was mentioned as a successful product in an article about Ulscht & Linn that appeared in the 1881 "Commerce, Manufactures & Resources of Rochester, N. Y."
217,176 Jul. 01, 1879 Improvement in apparatus for regulating pressure in fermenting-casks Adam J. Ulscht Rochester, NY An 1884 book, "Commerce, Manufactures & Resources of Rochester, N.Y.", mentions that Ulscht & Linn manufactured "the firm's own Patent Pressure Regulator for Brewers, an invaluable invention to the manufacture of malt liquors."
Co-inventor David Lang was a cooper special in brewers' and wine casks.
