The J.O. Spencer, Son & Co. was originally located in Union Springs, New York and was moved to Waterloo, New York in the summer of 1882. This company has was also known as Spencer Wide Awake Works
The Spencer Wide Awake Works was known to have manufactured steam traction engines, portable steam engines, stationary steam engines, threshers and separators, hoisting drums, and standard farm engines.
