The Hagerstown Steam Engine & Machine Co. was located in Hagerstown, MD and was known to have been a manufacturer of steam traction engines (ca 1880's), and portable steam engines (ca 1870's).
      By 1906, the company had been succeeded by H. C. Foltz, which went became Foltz Manufacturing & Supply Company
