This electric motor manufacturer was in business by 1904 and lasted until at least 1932. They were acquired in 1929 by Century Electric Co.

  • A 1929 issue of Electrical World, seen in "Snippet View" in Google Books, says, "The Century Electric Company, St. Louis, manufacturer of alternating- current motors and fans, has purchased Roth Brothers & Company of Chicago..." The Wood-Worker carried a nearly identical writeup.
  • A postin in an owwm.org forum describes a very hefty pedestal buffer from this maker.
