Improved method of hanging bandsaws
|
William H. Sullenberger |
Chambersburg, PA |
Invention relates to a tilting-wheel saw, also known as a ship saw. This is the earliest ship saw patent we have found. A non-tilting bandsaw from Eyster & Stouffer of Chambersburg, Pa., has been reported, bearing this patent date. Inventor Sullenberger also received an 1868 patent for a sash lock, patent 85,345. The patent specification gives the inventor's surname as Sullenberger, the drawing gives it as Sollenberger, and the signature on the drawing appears to be Sallenberger. |
