This firm in 1870 by August Witte. Engine production began in about 1894. In 1920 they made—or, at least, sold—a small circular sawmill.

Ad in Jan 1920 Popular Science for a wagon-mounted circular sawmill. "Saws 25 cords in 6 1/4 hours".
