- Reuben McChesney was granted a scrollsaw patent on 1870-04-12. The patent was not assigned. On 1870-11-01 he was granted another scrollsaw patent, and this one was assigned to Thomas L. Cornell and Sidney Cornell. On 1871-08-14 Thomas L. Cornell and Sturges Whitlock were granted a scrollsaw patent, which was assigned to Thomas L. Cornell.
