Information Sources

  • We learned of this maker in a posting to an owwm.org forum.
  • According to the 1907 edition of The Directory of Directors in the City of Boston and Vicinity, one G. M. Stuart was the treasurer and general manager of The Stuart Howland Company, seller of electrical supplies. We do not know if this is the same G. M. Stuart. The 1910 Report of the Boston Chamber of Commerce gives the Stuart-Howland Stuart's first name as Guilford. We could not find any evidence of a Guilford M. Stuart ever living in Lynn, but then again we could not find information on any other G. M. Stuart.
