The Sipp Machine Co., Paterson, NJ, manufactures a line of all ball bearing high speed quick change sensitive drill presses, in which simplicity of design is combined with efficient service. Power is transmitted for a horizontal to a vertical shaft, through steel bevel gears and then direct to the spindle by an open endless belt. Seventeen ball bearings are used on a single spindle machine and thirteen for each extra spindle, also three additional on all double drive machines. Quick change speed is another feature, the change from any one of the four speeds to any other being made in two seconds.
